The Ontario Ministry of Health has published an update memo to its Phase 2 Vaccination Plan. The memo details minor revisions to the Second Group of Essential Workers who cannot work from home to include construction sector workers.

Late Friday afternoon, the government of Ontario again extended all emergency orders under the Reopening Ontario Act (ROA) for at least another month, to April 20th.

Yesterday Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister, Steve Clark, announced that the Ontario government is providing an additional $500 million to help the province’s 444 municipalities address ongoing COVID-19 operating costs. The new financial relief will help ensure the delivery of critical services and capital projects.

The Government of Ontario’s emergency orders have been extended until March 21st under the Reopening Ontario Act, the province is maintaining the Stay-at-Home order and all existing public health and workplace safety measures are in effect for an additional two weeks in the Toronto and Peel Public Health Regions, along with the North Bay-Parry Sound District.

The Ontario government has extended the declared provincial emergency for an additional 14 days. The declaration of emergency made under section 7.0.1 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act (EMCPA), originally declared on January 12, 2021, will now expire on February 9, 2021,
