About the MEA/ACEC-Ontario Liaison Committee
The MEA/CEO Liaison Committee is the agreed upon forum for discussion and consultation on matters of mutual interest and benefit; to encourage and facilitate communications between associations; and assisting in the support of their members and activities.
The committee is the venue through which ACEC-Ontario & MEA work together to develop solutions to issues of mutual importance. Specific objectives for the committee may include, but are not limited to:
- Review of ongoing municipal procurement policies, models and practices, administrative and technical issues related to Engineering concerns
- Review of consulting industry best practices
- Risk allocation between consultants and municipalities
- Development and maintenance of meaningful and effective relationships internally and externally
